14th March 2013 – During the 8th edition of the Belgian Legal Awards, buyle legal received the award for “Best Belgian Banking & Finance law firm of the year 2013”.
During previous editions of the Belgian Legal Awards in 2008 and 2010, our Banking & Finance team has already been awarded the prize for “Best law firm for Banking & Finance”.
The other nominees this year were Clifford Chance, DLA, Nauta Dutilh, Altius and Lydian.
The jury was composed of representatives of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Belgian Federation of Enterprises (FEB-VBO), the Belgian association of in-house company lawyers (IBJ-IJE), and of in-house legal counsel.
The jury justified its decision as follows :
“Interesting technical handling of cases in 2012
Excellent value for money
Unmatchable competences in Banking & Finance
High academic profile combined with pragmatic approach
Managed to deal cases although strong investment in the community”
